The Rajasthani government’s Energy Conservation Building Directive includes solar reflectance performance on low-sloped roofs on commercial buildings that have connected load of 100 kilowatts.  Section 3.3.1.1 states: Roofs with slopes less than 20 degrees shall have initial solar reflectance of not less than 0.70 and an initial emittance no less than 0.75 . Solar reflectance shall be determined in accordance with ASTM E 903-96 and remittance shall be determined in accordance with ASTM E 408-71 ( RA 1996).
