Abstract / Description

The City of Melbourne reviewed the effects of a recent heatwave (January 14-17, 2014), and found that the city and local businesses lost $37 million in revenue.

Melbourne is taking steps to help residents and businesses cope with increasing urban heat as a member of the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities Program.  Read more about their efforts here.
