Cool Roofs Featured in Energy and Buildings

A new study by the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory compared green roofs and white roofs, and scientists found that a white roof reflects 3 times the amount of sunshine as a green rooftop garden. They also found that white roofs are more economical to install and maintain.
